I’m sooooooooooo sore. My neck’s sore. My left thumb feels like it’s broken. My ass has imploded. My chest hurts when I breathe. GOD I looove Crossfit but I hate Crossfit. Nawm’sayn?! It hurts so good though.
The other night we were working on snatching and bar-path for snatches. Light technique work to get better at the movements before doing snatches in the wods at a heavier weight and faster pace. #lovinit
So I saw Paleo Parents‘ recipe for Spaghetti Squash alla Carbonara and I NEEDED to make it. Now, this is probably only the 3rd time I’ve ever followed a recipe off of a Paleo website or cookbook even though I own a dozen Paleo cookbooks, pin hundreds of Paleo recipes and screenshot a ton of Instagram food pics. I don’t know what it is. It’s me. Not them. I just can’t follow a recipe. I also want to own all of the Paleo books out there but haven’t cracked any of them open besides Practical Paleo (which you NEED to own by the by).
Their recipe called for arrowroot powder and I didn’t have any. I don’t have a ton of “rare” Paleo ingredients as I try to keep the food I cook common enough that most people can make and simple enough that you don’t really need a recipe for. I left the arrowroot powder out and the dish still came out tastaaay.
You can find the recipe here: http://paleoparents.com/featured/spaghetti-squash-alla-carbonara/
(This is 2 seconds before that little dog got eaten – it’s ok, he was Paleo)
